Navigating the Medicare Maze

Whether you are just turning 65 or you are wanting information on the different type of plans available to you, this presentation is for you!  Navigating the Medicare Maze can be difficult...what is the difference between an Advantage Plan and a Supplement?  What benefits will I receive?  What are the costs?  Sometimes it is easier to just go with the option that is the lowest price...but is that the best for your health situation?  St. Mary's Medical Center Senior Care Services is proud to host Cole Hammond, Local Medicare Expert, who will educate you on the different types of plans, what it means when you select an advantage plan and how to determine which is best for you.  Dinner and materials will be provided.

Let's Have Dinner and Talk About Death

Let's Have Dinner and Talk about Death....sounds macabre, right?  But it actually represents the most important conversation that we are NOT having, and should be...."What would I want for my care should I be unable to verbalize it?"  Let's Have Dinner and Talk about Death is a Nationally recognized program aimed at normalizing those difficult end-of-life conversations.  We discuss everything from the types of care you do...and do not...wish to receive to where you want to go should you be unable to return home.  We will have several industry professionals on hand to answer questions you may have regarding: Financial and Estate Considerations, Organ Transplant, Hospice, Veterans Information, Cremation, and so much more!  Getting the tools you need to help make important decisions now will help your family advocate for you when you aren't able.
